How can a young man cleanse his way? By taking heed according to Your word. With my whole heart I have sought You; Oh, let me not wander from Your commandments! Your word I have hidden in my heart, that I might not sin against You. (Psalm 119:9-11)
The word of God is such a wonderful blessing in our lives! By its precepts sins are cleansed. Through its commandments, the young man’s whole heart is turned toward seeking and finding God. By implanting it deep within your heart it shields you from sin. Do not take for granted God’s word. It belongs to God, and He has given it to you for your holiness. Trust it, build your faith upon it, and by keeping it you will walk with God.
