Hear Those Jesus Sent #756

He who hears you hears Me, he who rejects you rejects Me, and he who rejects Me rejects Him who sent Me. (Luke 10:16, NKJV)

When Jesus sent seventy of His disciples ahead of Him to be laborers in God’s harvest of souls, they healed the sick and preached, saying, “The kingdom of God has come near to you” (Lk. 10:9). The miracles they worked validated or confirmed the message they preached as being from heaven and not the message of mere men. By receiving their message, people were receiving a message that came from heaven. Today, God speaks to us in His Son (Heb. 1:2). Not by dreams, intuition, whispers or feelings, but through the words of His chose representatives (apostles) whom He sent into the whole world, preaching His gospel (Mk. 16:15). Their message has been validated by miracles (Mk. 16:17-20). Those who believe their word, repent and are baptized to be saved (Mk. 16:16; Acts 2:37-41). Do not reject the gospel of the apostles. To do so means you are rejecting Jesus, the Son of God, and God the Father who sent Him.
